SERIES: Untitled [In Process], 2025

Untitled [In Process] emerged from a self-care ritual of 6 daily acts repeated for 66 days, multiplied across multiple rounds. It sought to mitigate pain by generating new pain through intense calisthenics. Inspired by 1970s female performance artists, the work continues their lineage of body-centered endurance practices. Born in response to betrayal, the practice embodied three personas—Summer, Winter, and Autumn/Aubyn—who perform as an Instagram Trainer, Influencer, and art-world Content Creator. Codifying self-care through counts, lists, and video documentation inscribed the work into daily labor. By recontextualizing the body as sculptural medium and social media as site of installation, the piece transforms private ritual into public spectacle, subverting institutional power dynamics through the self-commodifying Influencer.
